As I promise before (I don't know when, but because it was so long time), I will posting about the cheap price to stay in Ubud. Its mostly expansive 5 star hotel . LoL, nope, Iam kidding. hehehe.. These list of 'Hostel arround 35.000 rupiah (arround 3USD) untill 120.000 rupiah (9 USD). Okay, before I start to list down, I have some advice for all of you when you will go to Ubud :
Going to Ubud :
From Ngurah Rai Airport you already have scooter, so its more cheaper to cut your budget; Go by scooter to Ubud it's arround 1 hour 20 minute. It is safe if you use helmet, google maps, and have drive licsence. If you don't like go to by Scooter, you can use Taxi/Rent car via Ngurah Rai Airport to Ubud, then ask them to stop in Scooter / Bike rent center. After that you can go arround Ubud by Scooter/Bike. I suggest you to rent scooter or bike because there's distance to reach about*
1. UBUD MANDALA HOSTEL
This Hostel is the cheapest place I ever stay as long I was in Ubud, or even in Bali :)
When you going as Solo Traveller, this Hostel its fit for you. Or maybe you're kind of some girls gouing travelling as backpacker with your girl friend's, this Hostel also very recomanded! As long as I stay here for 2 days (because I move one to another one Hostel to get new experience and friends), I met so many guy's (or even man) and girl's that going as Solo Traveler too. So we know each other in the morning to having breakfast together. In the night, ussually they drink some wine in lounge within sharing travelling stories. Some people maybe only read books, working with their laptop, or playing Bilyard.
Ubud Mandala Hostel have room with Female Bunk Bed, Male Bunk Bed, Mixed Bunk Bed, Private Room. If you go as Solo Traveler, don't worry, you can stary in one of the Bunk Bed Room. The rate just start 35.000,- rupiah (arround 3 USD) and it was include simply breakfast (Tinny simply plan pancake with chococolate dairy milk as topping). But if you want to save the budget, this Hostel is the right place to stay, even the location arround 5 KM if you want to reach the centre of UBUD.
Note:
The owner of the Hostel also nice, I've been talk and discussed with him about the land price in Bali and how to start if I had plan to buy house in Bali.

2. HALAMAN DEPAN HOSTEL
Another cheap Hostel is Halaman Depan. This Hostel located little far from centre of UBUD. Its arround 11 KM. This Hostel is kind of Bunk Bed Room again. They have Female Bunk, Mixed Bunk, and private single room. For stay in Bunk-Bed Room, you just need to pay 50.000 rupiah (Arround 4 USD), without breakfast.
This Hostel very near with supermarket which is open night, so you do not worry if you forget to buy something, you can go just across the street near the Hostel. Also the location was in the main of big street, so you can walk arround near the Hostel in the evening

3. GREEN PADDY HOSTEL UBUD
This Hostel is the last hostel I ever stayed in Ubud, Bali. The price maybe more costly than another 2 one's. But I think its worthed when you stayed there with the view and the facilities you get there. Its look like tropical hostel with rice field view when you go swimming in the pool. I stayed there for 2 night's and you know what?? Even I stayed there in Bunk-Bed Female Room, I was still alone :D
Yeah, the moment when I went to Ubud was un-peak situation, so there's no one of guess in my room. But in other room (Private room) there 2 girls from German that go travelling arround South East Asia after they're graduation.
Green Paddy Hostel Ubud is build with typical wooden Hostel. All things in this Hostel made from old wood. The decoration and looks was match with culture stuff and accesories such as Wayang, etc.
This Hostel will charge you :
Bunk Bed Room : 120.000 rupiah (Arround 9 USD) include Breakfast
The breakfast enough complete with fruit and tea. You can choose :
Omelete, 2 slice bread toast with jam, Rice Fried
Private Room : Arround 400.000 rupiah (35-40 USD) valid for 2 person
